Slot Loading Blu-ray drive for HTPC

I just recently built my first HTPC and I was hoping to install a slot loading blu-ray drive into this machine (mini-itx case) but cant find one for the life of me.

Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/DIGISTOR-5-25-.../dp/B002SYJO9Y but that has blu-ray support.

Does anyone know if this exists?

thats the only one I have found and it looks like a jimmy-rigged laptop drive hooked up to a desktop adapter and sold for a huge premium. Thanks though.

I guess I'm just shocked that their arent alot of these slot loading blu-ray drives out there.

I am really confused why you are looking for a fill thickness slot loading drive. Kind of defeats the purpose, imo.

Pioneer used to make normal 5¼" slot load optical drives over a decade ago. These days you can only find slot load slim drives.

You can actually buy those bay adapters and the drives separately, if it is more price advantageous. There are quite a few on the market, such as this one for $15. I had an aluminum one from Lian Li that cost a bit more. Here are pics of mine. I used a Panasonic slot load DVDRW.

that looks almost perfect Zap, thanks! It looks like the one in your picture isnt the one from the performance-pc site you linked to. Is the bay adapter in your pic a custom unit?
