Will Dr. Paul be the President of the New Texas Republic?

When Texas secedes from the Union, it will need a President. Dr. Paul is perfectly suited for the role, and will win with overwhelming support from the populace of the New Texas Republic.
And the libruls here said Dr. Paul wouldn't win in 2012.

I think perhaps our friend Debra Medina would like the role better, however. I also think it would just be best if they decided to have what J Madison would call a "pure democracy". Pure democracy is chaotic at first, but then order comes once everyone goes their own separate way.

Yep, they just replaced him with another politician with a (R) beside his name. Had Paul been an Independent or Democrat he never would have held office in either district he represented.
