Receiving government money, food stamps, etc should not be allowed to vote.

You can see this with obama policies, he is feeding the free shit army with MY MONEY. I am ready for them, I am prepared for them.

If you are on welfare, medicaid, SSDI, food stamps you should not be allowed to vote. PERIOD.

Those people should not be able to vote. PERIOD. The free shit army is already slaves, and they voted for more slavery. Fuck them.

Obama's popular vote margin up to ~ 3.5 million votes: http://www.politico.com/2012-electio...President/2012

Haven't calculated percentages, but I'm guessing it translates to about Obama 51% / Romney 48%.

Why is a corporation that does business with the government allowed to donate to political campaigns?

Yep, and the vast majority of Americans would feel proud & privileged to live in a country that allowed & enabled them to accomplish that while living a very nice lifestyle. Not everybody is so lucky.

Mind of the liberal. Allowed to live. Allowed to thrive. In other times you'd be killed where you stand for such beliefs.

I think he was also trying to say that he and Romney didn't know "Urban" areas had more people in them than Rural areas.

Only in your delusions, Spidey.

Things change, and they never were what Righties imagine them to have been, anyway. Look around, realize that our well being is highly dependent on others, and that our greatest accomplishments have come from working together, giving the other guy his due, sacrificing for the greater good & for the future we'll personally never see.

Do you imagine that the founders of this country could even comprehend our reality, that they had the faintest idea of it?

Shee-it, Sherlock- electricity was a curiosity, chemistry rudimentary, germ theory of disease a heresy, exploitation of oil resources unimagined, while slavery & the divine right of Kings were the "conservative" ideology of the time.

It's not like blacks, browns, Jews, & native americans were allowed & enabled, was it? Not even women, for that matter...

Quit beating your self important chest- you're just another small cog in a very big world, and the people you worship so devoutly will crush you, too, if they see the chance. It's nothing personal to them- it's just business, and you might as well be a bug or one of the people you despise for all they care.

You've got issues. Owning land shouldn't have anything to do with being able to vote, and only a retard would think it should.

so what your trying to say in a sneaky way is that if there was political diversity then the republican would win every time.....

Well, they didn't.
Back in the 1800's.
Come to think of it that's where Ryans policies are from so now the whole thing makes sense.

One thing that seems to be lost on the discussion of "free stuff" is that people move in and out of receiving benefits. So at one time they paid taxes into the system, then they needed help, then they go back to paying taxes, etc. Also, presently there is a 5 year lifetime limit on welfare. Circumstances could be such for anybody that they may need assistance for a period of time in their lives, but you won't have it forever.

The 'Free Stuff" discussion is nothing but a Rovian strategy to give angry white folks a reason to stay with the Rupublican party. The ideas posited here -- that everyone is cities is on welfare, that renters shouldn't be allowed to vote, etc.-- are clearly rantings by losers who cannot accept that the reality that the person working in the next cubicle, who is doing the very same job, may in fact have a fundamentally different view of where our opportunities as a nation lie.

Paul Ryan is in the same boat; he is rationalizing the fact that his positions do not resonate as he thinks he should. His urban vote thesis conveniently ignores how out of step he is with his own hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin. He won re-election in the congressional district but lost in Janesville - a town with a population of less than 64K which is 91% white. The Romney/Ryan ticket lost Janesville by 25 points.

Ya, places where people live and vote tend to overwhelm places where cattle and corn live.

That's pretty funny since I live in Atlanta. The largest black population in the country is here and the state went to Romney. Kind of blows his racist little theory out of the water, huh?
