One thing that seems to be lost on the discussion of "free stuff" is that people move in and out of receiving benefits. So at one time they paid taxes into the system, then they needed help, then they go back to paying taxes, etc. Also, presently there is a 5 year lifetime limit on welfare. Circumstances could be such for anybody that they may need assistance for a period of time in their lives, but you won't have it forever.

The 'Free Stuff" discussion is nothing but a Rovian strategy to give angry white folks a reason to stay with the Rupublican party.
