6 miles to work, fetched a package on the way home.
Estimating that total is thus around 20 miles for me today.
which sums up to:

2x2x6, including one at 2°C, which is right around the lower limit, and yesterday's ride home in a good wind, trying to push me over in a new way every few meters...

Just returned from this.
The climb to the col de coq is only around 750 meters of climb (from the direction I came - other side is about 1.2km).
Subjectively, this was worse than climbing alpe d'huez, because I already had close to 1.2km of climb in my legs, and because the road is...brutal.
Road conditions are quite bad, but that's not the main issue. The issue is, that the climb consists of intervals of extremely brutal steepness (pretty sure there were a few bits > 10%) with others with less steepness (around 8%) and one or two close to flat bits, as well as a mid-climb descent.
Now generally, you'd think that mid-climb descent allows you to relax a little, but it's really short, highly technical due to the road conditions, and the climb off its backside is just more of that brutal steepness.
I was coping relatively well muscle wise, but was running into dizziness, as my cardiovascular system was running pretty much at full military thrust. for close to 2:30h. Averaged about 8mph over that time.
Now time for a shower and some carbs....

37 miles today. At around 20 miles, I noticed a strange click in the drive train every 3 revolutions of the crank or so. When I got home, I found out that one of the link on the chain was partially popped loose! Was able pop the pin back in. Thank goodness the chain didn't come apart.

Yikes. I'd pop a new chain on ASAP. Chain is one of those "need to trust" items. Chain ripping on a climb or during a sprint is one of those nightmare situations. IF then also gets in your wheels, you're pretty much roadkill. Very scary.
Got a clicking crank case myself, shop said it's within parameters and not a sign of impending doom, so I'll just hope they know what they do, and they'll give it a good looking when I hand them the bike for the inter-season check-up.
Also, look at that height profile
http://www.gpsies.com/map.do?fileId=mbftbhovyynqzbui
The last mile of that climb is an average 12%. No wonder I was crawling up there

Yea, I'll pop down to the LBS tomorrow and pick up a new chain. Guess I'll make a key chain from the old one.

i do not often venture in here, but need to start.
8 miles today, very windy and about 40 degrees. climbed from ~6200 to ~7300 feet, and then back down. ~ 250 miles in the dirt this summer. I will post a few pictures when they get uploaded.

Went up the LA coast line this morning and back for 42 miles. This is the farthest I've ridden, ever! I had to stop because the bike trail ended... The weather was so bad in the southbay this morning, but as soon as I past santa monica, everything cleared up! Fricking freezing with the heavy fog along the coast line though.

26 mile loop today. The chain stayed on the big ring the whole time, didn't touch the left shifter. Instead of spinning up hills, I got my a$$ out of the saddle. Sur la Plaque!

[Edit]Oh yeah, meaningless without gearing. I run a 50x34 crank with a 11-25 cassette[/Edit]

Put in twelve miles at an aggressive pace (for me). Trying to get back in to longer rides while not sacrificing pace. Taking some time off and a lousy work schedule have certainly taken a toll on me...

My workplace moved to a new location, so I've been busy, but I'll try to post my rides again. I commuted all this week by bike (now a 7-mile round-trip) so I'll throw in 5 x 7 = 35 miles for this week.
Now that the business move is done, I'm hoping to ratchet up my riding program again with some good hill climbing and ~15-30mi commuting routes. Got the studded tires on, good lights, and tons of reflective stuff.

50 miles. Nice warm day. Saw 2 dead dogs on the side of the road, both had collars. That pisses me off. I ride in a rural area and the folks around here let their dogs run loose. I get chased at least three or four times per ride. Now that not too bad for me because it's like doing sprint intervals, but then these poor dogs get run over by cars. The dog owners need to be smacked. [/rant]
