Any good Black Friday video card deals coming up?

I've been waiting to buy a card since summer of 2011, after the 660 Ti came out I saw 7950 prices dropping and figured they might drop a little more by Black Friday. At this point I'm still not sure if I want the 660 Ti or 7950 but I want the best performance for as close to $250 as possible. Are any deals on the horizon that might make this possible?

Well, the 7950s got the additional bonus of free games. So, I'm optimistic that there will eventually be a price drop with no free games? I'd prefer to just save money on the card now, and then buy the games in a year or so when they are $5. I mean, if they aren't going to bundle the free games, they've got to pass the savings on to me too right?

I would just go for a 7950 on Black Friday. In fact, that's what I'm doing.

Prices are fluctuating every day. You might be able to snag a really good card now, IIRC 7950s were going as low as 250 or so.

Interesting...been only watching Newegg and the lowest I've seen for either card is $280 AR.

I'm personally trying to see if upgrading from a 5870 will be worth it. It runs most games on high/max pretty damn well still. I bought it for 150 last BF, and I'm wary to see if an upgrade comes along that will be worth the time/effort to replace and resell my card because I'm pretty sure price/performance will drop extremely fast past 150 dollars.

may I suggest amazon warehouse deals. they are used but you get 30 day return window at their cost if it does not work well.

nothing good today but i got a 7970 for 317 last week

Last week there was a Sapphire 7950 for around 235 AR on amazon. Don't depend on newegg and it's easier to use shopping websites to help you find prices.
