Nice, was going to grab this the last time they had it (what was it, a week ago?) but I was literally a minute too late, I applied the $50 discount and it worked, but by the time I clicked to confirm my order the time had expired. I was distracted talking to a buddy and totally lost track of the time while doing the order. Actually had to cancel the order and the reason I chose as to why I canceled was "price was too high", so they must have brought this deal back just for my sake, so you're all welcome.

Funny thing is, I spotted this deal in my email, last night, but didn't *feel* like spending $100.

My quad-GPU cruncher froze twice when I was trying to get it to work again. Not quite sure what's wrong with it, but it could be an unstable PSU. Currently has a Xion PowerReal 800W non-PFC PSU in it. (SuperFlower?)
I would love to get this SeaSonic, but I'm out of spare money for the month. Maybe next time.

Yes, if you need that much power $100 is still a great price on a quiet, efficient, top-grade PSU.
It's more power than you need though, unless you're running 20 platter drives or two high-end graphics cards in SLI / Crossfire.

Yeah....about that.
If your object is efficiency, a X750 is as efficient at it's lower end as a EW 380 is at peak efficiency.(way outside of its ratings and what should be a "bad" place for it).
This is why you should always ALWAYS actually read reviews for tested results instead of assuming. The X750 performs outstandingly even under poor conditions while the same cannot be said for the Antec EW380.
JG tested the X750 (older revision) pulling
86.2% @ 10% load
Techpowerup tested the X750 KM3 (current revision) pulling
90.1% @ 13%load
88.8% @ 10.5% load

Compare that to the Earthwatts which got 87.5% at 50% efficiency (it's best score)
It dips into the upper 70s when it dips under 20%
