I sure hope so. And K-State winning would put them at #1

Florida and LSU gave everybody in the SEC the blueprint to stop Johnny Football.

This is Texas A&M we are talking about, notorious with 2nd half collapses (for example , they did have double digit lead in the 1st Qt vs. LSU a few weeks back). It is still too early (1st Qt).
I will wait until 4th Qt with 5 minutes or less.

New coaching staff, so that might not apply.
What does apply though is SEC officiating. Somewhat notorious for favoring home teams and higher ranked teams. Watch the spots!

I was talking about the game vs. LSU on Oct.20, 2012. Aggies led 12-0 in the first quarter.
Bama just stop Aggies on 4th down.
BTW, I am a LSU fan so I would love Bama to lose but it is still too early to call.
Edit: Bama just scored a TD right before half time and only 6 pts behind.

True enough.
Still, watch the spots. And count the holding calls. Or non calls.

Lets also not forgot Texas A&M led La. Tech 39-13 and ended up being lucky to win by two.

You have to realize that that's how this particular juggernaut works. The team typically has such depth that even if another team starts off like a rabbit, they get worn down and the second half ends up a blowout. You might win a quarter or even a half, but by the end of the game, the scoreboard is almost always going to not reflect that early lead.

Would love to see the Aggies pull it off, but I don't think they're going to.

Aggie QB is one fast dude. He is knocking at Bama door at the end of 3rd Qt.
15 minutes to go.

TD Aggies from a fumble.
If LSU has a QB/offense as Aggies, they would have been undefeated.

Aggies got a no call on the helmet to helmet hit on Lacy.

INT for Aggies in the end zone with less than 2 minutes left. Come on Aggies, hold on.

And Aggies intercept to get the ball with 1:30 left in the game and the score A&M 29 Alabama 24.Thought they mightbe able to pull out a come from behind, last minute win like FLorida did earlier today.
edit: Ahhh... beaten - again. Just not fast enough a typist.
