Default Android app to access ics calendar via http?

I don't really want to either put my ics calendar onto Google Calendar or have Google Calendar link to it (I think I tried the latter and it didn't work very well either). At the moment on my computer I use Mozilla Sunbird (which I realise has been discontinued).

I have Android 4.0.3 on my phone.

read/write access to the calendar would be ideal, but I would settle for read access.
