Okay, I've gone through the pain back in December 2012. After removing the 9 screws, the bottom cover has about 10 (estimate) "tabs" inside securing it.
I started with the front where the LEDs are, using fingernails to separate the first clip or so. Once I got around 1/3 of the way, I used an old credit card to slowly to push the tabs in so it would separate. Repeat with each side. The trickiest corner was the corner where the Ethernet is located. It's now a piece of cake.
The link posted by justjohnny is very helpful. I read about people using a screwdriver, but didn't want to leave any "battle scars". The last bit to keep in mind, the height of the SSD must be 7 mm.
Asus don't publish service manuals like Dell or Lenovo; Asus says it's a trade secret.
