No. I really got my flu shot today.
I do it mostly to get off the phones for a bit. They gave me a half hour and it only took 3 minutes!

I was at Costco for lunch, they do them for $16.99, is that a good price?

dunno...work gives them to us for free. They even come to our call center to do them.
We had an outbreak a few years back and lost 50+ people/day to the flu. Ever since then, they bring in people to give us the shots if we want them.

I have never gotten one. I get sick maybe once a year, not even sure if I get the flu, but at least a cold.

Some places are free, but they use the low quality shit prone to reactions.
My college does them for 20 and they are better.

I got one last year and still ended up getting one of the worst flu's I've ever had, no vomiting but felt like me back was breaking with body aches for about a day. I'll still probably get one this year though. They have the new inter dermal one that is supposedly 1/10 the size of a regular needle which is already very small.

Wow! Usually the flu isn't nearly as deadly as that.

I've never got a flu shot. Then again I never really get sick. My immune system is built like a tank. I could see getting one if you work with a lot of people, though.

No, considering they are probably free at your local health department which is funded by your tax dollars.

I was a little bit nauseated for a couple days but it's much better than getting the flu.
I've only had the flu twice in my life including one bout about 4 years ago. I couldn't do anything for a week, thank god it didn't snow that week because I'm in the snow removal business. I can't afford to get sick. Not to mention, I was so sick it was scary.

Depends on where you are, but typically not free for everyone.

You would think it was deadly judging by how people were acting. The swine flu was even more hysterical.
Today I have a really nice Charlie horse on my arm. Didn't feel a thing yesterday

All us folks with immune systems that do not function properly appreciate it, really I'm not kidding. Its really not a big deal to get one and if you don't like the sight of needles ask for the nose version, if you're afraid of mercury ask for a single dose version they do not contain mercury. Simple stuff.

I've gotten the flu shot for the last 3 years. I work with a ton of people and also deal with the public for about 5 hrs/day. The clients come in to their interviews sick, bring there sick kids and let them touch everything, and my coworkers come in sick hell or high water. I understand not wanting to use hours, but coworkers who come in sick kinda drive me nuts. Stay home IMO.
Usually after I get the shot I get a bit under the weather for a few days. Not total flu like symptoms, but I can feel the body aches and a bit of congestion in the head.
