Need some silly help with thumbnail cache I think
So I just have a silly question, kind of.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium and I did that thing to disable thumbnail cache in regedit, exactly as it says, so it should be gone, correct?
Well I have
thumbcache_32
-96
-256
-1024
-idx
-sr.db
in the appdata\etc\explorer folder. I've read it should be gone.
Now if I run a cleaner to delete the stuff, I get a bunch of files in ThumbCacheToDelete. Tons named like thm4CD0, thm5222.tmp. A couple 1024kb, most 4kb or 1kb. But I've never noticed this happen before really. Is this a virus or is this some feature I've just not noticed for years? and if I disabled thumbnail cache shouldn't there be nothing?
This may be a very stupid question I realize. Thanks.
