simple way to reduce video size?
Let's say you have a short video of 27megs. You cannot email it to your friend via gmail because it is just a scant too big. How do you knock it down a bit?

Reduce the resolution, reduce the quality, reduce the length?
Upload it to Youtube or another video hosting site, upload it to some file sharing website, upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive...?

Use Handbrake, just re-encode it in a lower quality. Or reduce the resolution.

Handbrake works very well!
Exactly what I needed it to do.
Any simple video editing software?
I just want to remove 1 second from the beggining of a video.

Thats what I was thinking. Once you lower the quality enough so its small enough to email its not worth watching anymore. Absolutely no reason not to do a private youtube link unless its blocked.
