help! Looking to build a gaming pc under 700.00 us dollars
1)this will mostly be for gaming. must be micro atx case as i travel alot..
2)new budget about 800.00
3)will be buying FROM NEWEGG
4)I have no brand prefence
5)i already have a keyboard,mouse,and screen
6)i need windows 7
7)wont be overclocking
8) resolution 720p/1080p
9)will be buliding before end of nov 2012...

Really not worth it in a gaming machine on this budget. I would put a bit towards a nicer case if nothing worthwhile can be found for $30, and then put the rest toward notching the GPU up as far as possible.

After upgrading to a ssd I cannot imagine not having one. He can pick up a 60gb model for around $75, that still leaves him with $50 to spend on a case

Thanks guys...question what kind of performance will i get....games like bf3,crysis1,2,3///the witcher....etc...also question i have a asus laptop running windows 7 somebody told me i can use that from my laptop and not have to buy windows 7..any thruth to this....if so how....again thanks in advance...

Should be able to play most games on max at 1080p just don't try something crazy like enable uber sampling in the witcher 2.
Re: windows your friend is incorrect. That license is tied to that laptops motherboard

The Prodigy is a very nice case. It's a bit big compared to most ITX cases, but that means it will be able to fit most anything you want to put in it. Dmoney's build with this case and the Mini-ITX mobo is pretty much spot on in terms of budget ($786 AR).

update #2 my pc was damage by my son with water....yep water...my new build is i-3 3220,,evga 660sc 2gig....8gig 1600 ram 700 gs cosair...1tb hdd&120ssd or something window 8 64bit...
