That may be somewhat true, but I've always loved the Ferrari street cars. I was a big Nigel Mansell fan years ago. I think that just carried over to Schumacher when he left. I also liked Raikkonen during his time at McLaren and Ferrari. Kimi is still a great driver, I know he will be back winning again soon.
Now that I'm not a fan of any Ferrari driver I have really noticed the favoritism they receive on everything. In some ways it makes sense, because F1 pretty much exists because of Ferrari. On the other hand they are kind of like the Yankees at this point.
Ferrari can just throw money at any problem and get the driver who is winning the most no matter what their history is, all just to win. I don't like the win at all costs attitude.
It makes me happy to see Red Bull come along and take down Goliath. The other thing I like about Red Bull is that they let Vettel and Webber fight it out on track almost entirely without imposing team orders when logically they shouldn't have.
I will be very confused if Vettel ever goes to Ferrari. It could happen. I would have to be a full Hamilton and Raikkonen fan.

This could get interesting. If it comes down to it will Webber be ordered to give the race to Vettel? Or will they wreck each other out before it gets that far?
Anyone found out who's carrying the races next year? I have a feeling it's going to suck horribly. I love that Speed shows them live. Whoever bought it is bound to want to try and maximize the investment by showing it in the afternoon.

Pretty boring for the most part. I'm trying to still figure out why the pole sitter is on the outside for the first two corners.....
The astro turf debacle was sad, yet funny.
Vettel showed yet again that he's but immature. He has the chance to take the championship lead but his tires are almost completely gone with his engineers pleading for him to slow down. What's he do? Starts setting fastest speeds again.

The announcers seemed to think the tire thing was a ruse to try to get Vettel to slow down. There wasn't anything visibly wrong with the tires despite the warnings about cords showing. It was a strange back and forth. The cords certainly weren't showing, and Vettel's times did not reflect bad tires.
Kamui taking out Rosberg and Button right off the bat was the last interesting moment until near the end when Hamilton had a load of astroturf as a hitchhiker.

Was my first time watching the Korean race and they really built up the track like if it was going to be super exciting with the long straights and DRS and passing and all that but that didn't seem to be happening much at all. It seems like a really great track overall though with some great corners.

just a little catch-up on events:
the race in new jersey has been delayed to 2014. if they still aren't ready, expect the whole thing to be called off.
http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2012/10/1...-roundup-1910/
nbc will be carrying f1 from 2013 onwards. expect most races on nbc sports cable channel with 4 or 5 on nbc broadcast.
speed cannot even bother to send a crew to the 1st domestic f1 race in 5 years. adios, assholes. the channel itself will become fox sports in the near future. the fate of the current commentators is unknown - varsha seems to be bound to fox employment, and david hobbs hinted he might retire (which is a huge loss for the fans). i'm sure matchette and buxton can land on any english-speaking race show.

Wish Hamilton had another lap or two to see the battle between him and Webber play out.
Also, Vettel on pole = Vettel win? Seems like it. Makes for boring racing when he is 10 seconds ahead with no chance to catch up after 3 laps.

Seems like the same old situation. Get out front in clean air and you disappear. You won't be caught unless you have a problem.

Isn't there a racing series where the field that completes a race, starts in reverse order in the next race? i.e. winner of a race starts at the back of the field in the next race?
Would do wonders for F1 entertainment seeing all the front runners trying to make their way through the field in the first few laps.

Don't you hate it when Germans in F1 do that?

Reminds me of Damon Hill in clear air to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I like Vettel but he's so much more entertaining out of the car than in it.
After having 7 different winners for the first 7 races it looks like we'll have one winner for the last 7.

Interesting race...
You know it was interesting when Hobbs says "Stone the crows" and "Strike a light" in the same race...

Nice race.
SebVet dropping a "fuck it up" into the interview did show, that he's truly still worried about losing the championship. And that the race was exhausting.
Still, nice catch-up, and plenty of muscling around in the top ten.
And loved the "master class" moment, when Vettel and Button showed how a pass in the chikanes is supposed to be done like.

Excellent Race....Nice to see the Finn finally on the top step of the podium... Was hoping Vettel would finish off the podium (to keep the remaining races interesting). But good drive from him nevertheless, to go from 21 to 3.

No kidding. Amateur hour earlier was painful, then two pros show how it can be done. I wonder if Maclaren is going to regret signing Perez?

I wish! Already set the dvr for all practices, qualifying and race. I even looked into it a couple months ago, but travel, loading, tix were already out of control.
Between this race and Mecum/Anaheim, I will etch butt prints on the couch for all the viewing pleasure!
