don't usually have a problem with it except for the slowness and a few bugs with the new compose window.
But, the slowness could also be my computer partially.

i have chrome installed too and while gmail is fine and dandy in chrome, there's a certain lag in opera.
not a PC issue, it's gmail and opera IMO.

There was some contention between Opera and Google. I think they removed Opera from their supported browser list after the Facebook/Opera partnership discussions.
I use FF and find it is slower than Chrome for Gmail, but that's to be expected and of no concern to me. Probably going to be a similar experience with Google products on anything but Chrome.

i switched to the new compose option in gmail. everything works ok except the attachment part. when i press it, nothing happens. but after i press the attachment icon and i type something in the email body or click on the camera icon or the link icon, then the option to add an attachment shows up.
if i only click on the attachment icon and do nothing else, the option to add files does not appear. you guys have the same issue?

Welcome to the rest of the universe. There's a ton of sites that don't recognize Opera and keep recommending me to upgrade to a "modern" browser, IE9, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Bah!
