Default Parallella your thoughts

The Parallella only available though kickstarter features a dual-core ARM processor, Epiphany 16-core co-processor, 1GB RAM, Ubuntu OS. With these specs it gets upto 90 GFLOPS so what are your thoughts? I bought one should come next year may. :s

Interesting processor. Thanks for heads-up.

Oh, yeah, that processor. I noticed a thread on Mersenneforum about that, but didn't think to mention it here because their opinion was generally negative. And I didn't find that until a couple of hours (literally) after the kickstarter closed.

actually the specs you listed (the 16-core processor) would only churn out 32 GFLOPS...its the 64-core processor that would peak at 90 GFLOPS. i'm not sure which one you'll be receiving in May...

You'll get the 16-core. For the 64-core, they would have had to raise over $3 million in the Kickstarter.
