Got mine yesterday. Took forever with "egg saver shipping". Regardless I pulled out the two ancient and now seemingly monstrous 2x2GB sticks (oddly enough Samsung as well) and slapped in 4 of these puppies. Booted up without a hitch and not a single BIOS edit. Yeah I could clock these but I'm waiting for new mobo/CPU before that. Happy with my purchase

Yet another 10% off desktop memory code EMCJJNH45 valid through 11/03 so each DIMM is $17.09 shipped (less referral kickback).

8gb now down to $40 + 10% discount = $36. 4gb sticks up to $20.

My xmas wish is a toss up...I wish for either some 1x8 dimms or more dimm slots to suddenly appear. Maybe both! These lilliputian sticks are simply magical. I'm rock solid with 16gb on z77 @ 2133, 10-11-10-28-1T, 1.42v. I may attempt to hit nirvana and push 'em back down to 1.35v with unchanged timings over the weekend.

Just to follow up, I did try 1T, but it would not boot into Windows. I tried a few adjustments and then just backed down and accepted 2T.

Still seems great to me.

I'm doing 9-9-9-24 1T @1600 with 1.45V I was able to move it up to 1866, but it crashed. I feel I can get to 1866 with a little adjustment here or there, but it isn't that high on my priority list right now.

nah...I backed off to 1600 and it's 100% stable so far. Like I said, I could fiddle around with the settings and get that last little bit, but I ahve other things I'd rather be doing.

20 nm-class DDR3 available soon ?

http://www.techpowerup.com/175031/Sa...-Solution.html

Quote:
Following the announcement of its 20 nm-class 2 Gb DDR3 DRAM in September, 2011, the company initiated production of its 20 nm-class 4 Gb DDR3 last month, more than tripling its productivity compared to 40 nm-class DDR3 on notebook PCs, and also marking a major turning point from the conventional 40 nm-class and 30 nm-class DRAM used in personal computers.
