At what age did you stop wearing sneakers with jeans?
I'm over 30 and I feel like I should be wearing loafers with my jeans but I refuse to because it just doesn't look right, i.e., doesn't match, so I've been holding off.

I haven't worn sneakers since my early teens. I wear boat shoes, sandals, or boots.

I still wear jeans (but they're black jeans) but I don't have any sneakers (prefer golf/boat shoes).

I don't usually wear them in the winter, but all my socks are grey wool. :^D

Until I find something that offers the same level of comfort and flexibility, probably never.

I have the tan.
They look great, feel good, and are waterproof all the way to the top.
Only downside is they arent as comfortable as running shoes, but I prefer to save those for running.
Even the best quality brands only get about 300 miles. Save the comfort for exercise.
EDIT: And they look good with jeans. You could get the black shoes to go with your khakis or maybe even dress pants.

I've never worn sneakers with jeans... I'm not a huge fashion person, but always thought a nice pair of sandals or shoes looked alot better than sneakers, and you always see old people (50-60+) wearing stuff like that. I think I've only owned one pair of sneakers over the last ten years; since the only time I wear them is when I'm riding my bike, and I more often hike in sandals or boots (Keen/Merrell).
Plus, it kinds of aggravates me to see people that never go for a walk, let alone run or play a sport, yet they are always sporting big $ sneakers. Kind of like how people walk around in full NBA gear yet never touch a basketball. I don't want to be one of those people.

40. Switched to BDUs, much more comfortable and useful. Rarely wear sneakers cause they all crap now. Still wear a hoodie. Never owned a hoodie until age 42.

I don't ever see myself NOT wearing sneakers or jeans. It makes me comfortable and it's what I like.

BDUs are great. I wish they still came in OD as a standard color. I guess I could buy them new, but those are usually imported. I prefer genuine govt issue.

Disgraceful. My old BDUs are made in the USA. I only have one set of ACUs, and that's marked Propper, but I don't see a country of origin listed.

I wear jeans and sneakers about every day at work unless it is raining and then I wear my water proof Rockports. I consider sneakers superior for maneuvering on a raised floor in a Data Center.

I see. Not a fan of camo for everyday use. Then again, I was never in the army, just a navy cadet. Loved our thick navy blue felt winter trench coats though. You could feel warm in those even at -40.

Hence my desire of OD which is my favorite color anyway. I'm ok with camo, but I'd prefer a solid color. Pea coats are very nice, but I've never had one myself.
