What gas are you using? Standard pump gas with 10% etenol?


My money is that the carb is gummed up inside.

Yup. Clean/replace:
Air filter
Carb
Spark plug
Fuel line

Top up tank with fresh fuel if less than half full, drain and refill if more than half full

The 10% Ethanol fuel is know to gum carbs on small engines. So you probably are going to have to either rebuild or replace the carb and then try and use Ethanol free gas in your small engine. Actually it will also wreck havoc in carbs for cars also.
