$3 isn't a big loss. Try buying Spec Ops for $37, only to find out you could've bought it for $25 two days later.

after playing Spec Ops last night, I can say it is totally worth 25 bucks. The gameplay is kinda average but the plot is pretty interesting. Looks like the devs actually invested some time creating the story, and not some nonsense garbage like Max Payne 3(no offense to all the fanboys)

Thanks for the info. I picked up Max Payne 3 the other day. Is it me or is the game really difficult? I've been steadily progressing but in some areas I die a lot.

Heh, I was tempted to buy Spec Ops from GMG, but I held off. I guess I'm kind of glad that I did!
I passed the game off, because I wasn't sure if I would play it. It also only had okay reviews from what I saw on Metacritic. However, on these forums, people usually have really good things to say about it.
Although, I am still pissed off at 2K Games for never sending me my Borderlands shirt that I won during PAX East. I keep trying to get in contact with them and nothing works.

I wonder if there's any chance of MP3 being cheaper on the Steam sale? I definitely want to play it. Might bite.

If I were a betting man, I would say that you'll either see it for the same price or higher during Steam's sale. New games are usually only on sale for 33% or 50% off.

I can't imagine it being any cheaper than 50% off. Amazon has beaten out Steam many times, and I'd say this is one of them. If you're inclined to buy MP3 then now would be the time to do it.

I bought Max Payne 3, and part of the terms of service in the always online DRM they force you to sign into is that they can track your internet usage and sell it to third parties! What the hell is that?

note that Mercenaries 2 servers are no longer online so you can only play it SP. There is at least 1 "hack" out there that lets you play it MP though. basically trick the game to make it think there is a server running on your pc.

You can safely buy games from Amazon as long as you use a US mailing address (nothing will actually be mailed).

Square/Enix Ultimate Collection - I see no FF games in it, so how the hell can they remotely call it ultimate?
