This thing would be awesome for prototyping user interfaces. Just make the buttons out of something like legos, and connect this to them to make them clickable on the PC!

It seems useless if your mental capacity limits you to think of it as a controller for a toy. For other people that can just imagine other uses, as conditional inputs, for instance, the possibilities are vast. Think 1's and 0's!

if someone can come up with something actually useful for this, i'm all ears.
the only use i can maybe think of is for people with limited mobilty or very young children to interact with a pc...

if you can do that, just use a pic, basic stamp or arduino. all pretty easy.
