Looks like this would MOST LIKELY be good for blocking OUTGOING connections and on NEWER WINDOWS OS's thats quite important! (Blocking M$'s spying stuff from getting out)

Haven't ried it but did notice on their web site that you linked, the latest version is Aug 2008.

I assume this is for pre-vista/7? I'd grab an old version of Kerio over this, something like 2.1.5 iirc. Or even v 4.2.2 for additional application startup blocking if desired, which is what I still use on xp.
