Because obviously, if there are bugs or imbalances that need to be fixed, people are going to say the patch....

sounds good in theroy but I imagine most people dont care and will select A everytime and hit enter.

also of course what we play(telemtry) doesnt = what we want. I play more than few rounds of stuff I dont necessarily love, because freinds are playing and I would rather squad up than lone wolf

I also didnt like how when they said only % of kills were USAS+FRAG and he didnt provide OTHER popular combos to put them in scale.

for all we know the next closest weapon combo was half as popular

My group of friends and I are playing against a "pro" team next week in the Spring Alienware tournament. We are going to lose, badly. Any creative ideas for trolling?

If you play maps with uncaps, then just all be recon, equip MAVs, and have your whole team fly like a swarm of insects.

Usual zerg C4 rush with jeeps, utilize cruise missiles to your advantage against their jets (i.e. RAMMING SPEEEEED).

If you're playing on small infantry map and get pushed back to your spawn, simply refuse to spawn at all and taunt them on chat.

Abuse the M26 exploit (this is just trolling, not creative).

On a different note...

Does anyone know why Battlelog sometimes loses the record of certain rounds. I just played five in a row and the third went missing...happened to have gone 22-4 so I wanted to see that one. Does that mean I also lost the points/kills?

Not sure. Ive had some take a few minutes to show up, but I dont think Ive ever had one not appear with the exception being the server crashed.

I doubt the stats are gone, because you lose access to battlereports after X # of rounds anyways

I've had this happened to me as well, but I am pretty sure the match stats contribute to your overall stats. For me, I saw my KDR changing but I did not see battle report listing of all the matches I play.

I think you guys are right. Even though the battle report never showed up, it looks like my stats were saved, as best as I can tell.

No good. Hope I don't experience issues if I ever revert from eyefinity to 1 monitor.


I have been spending a lot of time in "Learn to Fly" servers lately. It was previously impossible for a noob fighter pilot (me) to shoot down a veteran with only my guns. Received the heatseakers and have since had a hell of a great time dogfighting and going through the fighter jet unlocks. Flying a jet is super fun - I love the sounds and the graphics, losing enemies in the sun, picking them up again, etc. Still a novice but it seems like the fighter jet aspect of this game is very well done, and I can see why some people play nothing but the jets. Good times so far.

Use external view often, by pressing C (if you didn't know). It REALLY helps when you're in a turning dogfight, makes it a lot more difficult to lose sight of the enemy jet. Actually it just helps overall awareness, in my opinion. Once you're good with guns, and if you want to be a bit more versatile, you can ditch the heat seekers for rockets and kill anything on the ground, too.

I was going to go all out on jets in the beginning, but then I went and got 30 heli service stars lol.

Thanks for the tips. I did find that external view is a lot easier. I find myself in that most of the time, and once I spot a tango I enter the cockpit to engage/fire.

I'm really looking forward to unlocking guided missles. I think it would be super cool for a teammate to designate a target and swoop in to drop the payload. Something like this:

Infrantry: "We've got heavy armor laser designated at checkpoint Bravo."
Me: "Copy that, Slayer inbound."
....
Me: "Bombs away!"
Infantry: "Good hit, target deystroyed!"
Me: "Copy that, Slayer outbound."

Call me a dork but I think that would be awesome. In reality, I doubt the teammwork like that exists unless I'm on with all my clan buddies.

Jet guided missiles are kind of hard to use. You have to spot the tank from far away, line it up, fly steady while it locks on, fire, and hope the tank doesn't have IR smoke. And if there's any hostile jets around you'll be toast flying on autopilot. I only use them if no one is flying the enemy jets and I have nothing to shoot at.

if its still weird ill go back to eyefinity and test it, if its still bad ill roll back to 12.3 and try eyefinity again

Well the good thing is that you don't need them to lase anything to lock on with guided, you just have to find it yourself. The bad is that it will take at least two hits on anything other than a jeep lol. Quantum is right though, you kind of have to forget about anything else while you're doing a guided run.

Probably going to combine these two. My goal in the match will be to get one kill then commence trolling.

Bf3 really needs some decent spectator options to promote competitive play and help get rid of cheaters.
