I think that I paid ~$46 shipped for mine at Newegg when I needed a few of them. I still have one left. They are decent supplies, although one of my Q9300 @ 3.0 rigs with a HD4850, running MilkyWay@Home 24/7 on all four cores and the GPU, suddenly rebooted on me once. Unsure why, whether there was a power glitch or what. My other main rig didn't reboot.

Power factor is not very good, but for the price this isn't a bad buy.

$12 less than "the Egg"; Woot!
I felt a little guilty at first for not getting a minimum 500 watt PS as I've missed all the good buys at Newegg recently. But man they are at least about double in price.
This rig wasn't demanding, and was running on an OLD 300 watt Antec.
This newer PS had the SATA connectors I need.
The product description paper in the box cracked me up:
"the VP450 promises one thing: quality performance at an incredible value. This entry-level solution gives you everything you need in a PS, nothing you don't. ...dual 12V rails....heavy duty protection circuitry.
The VP450 doesn't have time for twinkly lights or fancy paint jobs. With this PS, you get only the features you need, including Antec's Quality 2 Year Warranty. No bells. No whistles. No Nonsense. Get strictly power with Antec's VP450."
Free shipping at BB, or in stock at some Staples B&M for a PM with BB printout.

It is quiet.

For a case with top-mounted PSU, shouldn't the fan be facing downwards once mounted in your case (drawing air from inside the case thru the PSU and out the vents in the back)?
