I wanted a PS right away to finish a build of recycled parts leftover from an upgrade.

Note it has only one PCI-E connector. Also I didn't realize the fan sits atop the PS, not directly behind it, like the one it was replacing, (Antec 300 watt). A quick Dremel mod in the top of the aluminum case worked just fine for the 120mm fan.
It is quiet.
Best Buy only offered it as shipped and not in stock for brick and mortor in my area, (So. Cal.).
It is offered as FREE Shipping as well. Estimated Sales Tax: $2.32,
Subtotal: $32.31. It worked fine for my son's old recycled gaming rig.
BTW, I printed out this item from Best Buy and did a PM at Staples, as they had it in stock. No problem, they were quite polite. Maybe this is useful for someone. On sale till Saturday 5-5-12.

I think that I paid ~$46 shipped for mine at Newegg when I needed a few of them. I still have one left. They are decent supplies, although one of my Q9300 @ 3.0 rigs with a HD4850, running MilkyWay@Home 24/7 on all four cores and the GPU, suddenly rebooted on me once. Unsure why, whether there was a power glitch or what. My other main rig didn't reboot.

I felt a little guilty at first for not getting a minimum 500 watt PS as I've missed all the good buys at Newegg recently. But man they are at least about double in price.
This rig wasn't demanding, and was running on an OLD 300 watt Antec.
This newer PS had the SATA connectors I need.

For a case with top-mounted PSU, shouldn't the fan be facing downwards once mounted in your case (drawing air from inside the case thru the PSU and out the vents in the back)?

Yup. You are correct. But I also have " twinkly lights" = an Antec case fan in the color blue,lol.
