Please recommend a good power supply for the GTX 680
Ok, so ive decided to finally take the big jump from my ATI HD5870 to the GTX 680 as it gives the best performance jump. I currently own an ANTEC Earthwatts EA650W. I dont think it will be good enough for the 680 though. Can you people out there suggest a good and moderately priced PSU?
My specs:
ASUS P8Z68-VPRO/GEN3
i7-2600K@stock
8GB G-Skill Ripjaws memory
Corsair H-100 CPU cooler
Any help will be appreciated. Thnaks in advance.

An ANTEC Earthwatts EA650W should do the job, if you can get it cheap.

Agree, your Antec 650W is plenty for a GTX 680.

I wouldn't say that it is plenty with a lot to spare but it is enough for your current setup provided the condition is good. But had it been 550w it would be borderline, so you have enough for what you need but not hugely more than that. Also, if that psu is more than 2-3 years old, that may not be ideal but may still be okay.

its about a year old.
I have 2 HDDs, 1 TB each
+4 additional fans as well.
Hope these might not change anything.

See the specs in my rig.
I also used the same PSU for a GTX580 and a GTX480 without issue, both of which use more power than a GTX680.

You could probably run 2x 680s with that PSU.

Maybe not. GTX 680 SLI needs 4x PCIe, EA-650 only provides 2x PCIe. It has multiple +12V rails, and all the molex power connectors are probably in a single rail. Running a graphics card with adapters off of the molex connectors could run the risk of overloading the rail.

As I've posted before, I've run a Q6600 @ 3.6, and two GTX460 1GB cards, 24/7 for a month at full load running F@H, on a single EW EA650 PSU, using a pair of PCI-E splitters. It was fine.
I don't know if a GTX680 takes less power than a GTX460 does, but if it does, then even GTX680 SLI would be fine on that PSU.
