Free pair of glasses, sort of. Got my glasses today!
http://www.coastal.com/glasses/cCoup...FPFSuperShopUS
Supposedly your first set of glasses, including prescription glasses, will be free.
You do have to pay for coatings if you want them and shipping, but other then that the frames and lenses are covered.

Mine came out to $34.95 with chipping and the 3 coatings. The frames and the lenses were free as advertised. So as long as you dont get the coating your golden.

I bit myself. I went and picked out $100 frames, got them for free, I just had to pay for the coating, shipping and handling. Not to bad for $34.89

I tried this the last two times this deal was around. They both gave me headaches after about 4 hours of wearing them. I did manage to where the first pare for about 3 days thinking I just needed to adjust to them but it didn't work out.

Take them with you next time you have an eye exam, most places have a thing that quickly can check the quality and accuracy of a pair of glasses. Might be good to know what was wrong, your error or theirs etc.

That said I had a tracking number in two days after I placed my order so the should be here in the next few days and will update with my opinion.

LOL, yeah its there, I double checked again and its the huge banner when you click on the link. No idea why you dont have it showing at all. Try using code FPF301 at checkout.

Code currently showing as "FIRSTPAIRFREE" for me.
Price checked them for a new pair of (prescription) sunglasses - even with free frames (because the lenses are free only for standard 1.5 single vision), they came out almost twice as much as Zenni. Admittedly, Zenni isn't brand-name "designer" frames, but I don't care at all about that. Has anyone ordered from both and can say anything about relative quality?

I have and can do it when my glasses show up on the 11th. I can say they are faster then Zenni, and zenni doesnt have $100 frames like what I picked out and got for free. I paid around half as much for the new ones vs zeni, but zenni takes about 2 weeks or more to get to me where this was around a week, plus I dont recall zenni offering a scratch resistant coating where coastal does. I might be wrong on this for I had my glasses for about 2 years now. I do know that my frame alone was $22 at zenni and I got a $98 frame from coastal for free. Was it worth the extra $15~ more to order from coastal though? Ill let everyone know on the 11th
So far not having to wait an extra week or so is looking on coastals favor. Granted these were free and if I order again I would have to pay for the frames, which at that point I will just buy from zenni again. I just thought this was pretty hot for you get the first set for free. And they would of only cost me around $12 shipped if I didnt get all the coatings on them. I just couldnt pass up on free set for first orders.

Maybe my browser blocks the banner, there's no banner ad.
But I found out that they can't do prism prescriptions, which I need.

I too will post results when I get mine. I am hoping it works out, but the receptionist at my optometrist was a little icy when I called for my prescription.

I showed my last pair of Zenni to my Optician and he said he can't get lenses close to those prices, and didn't find anything wrong with my Rx on them.
Prism is weird, I bought a test pair without it from Zenni, and I don't see any difference.

Well I got my glasses today instead of the 11th and all I got to say is wow
Came with a really nice, hinged glass case, cleaning cloth, and a mini keychain screwdriver set. Very light, no huge lenses and prescription spot on. My eyes adjusted to them right away unlike others where I have to get used to them.
For free, shoot, couldnt go wrong at all. Im happy with them. My zenni pair the arm was cracked in several places so I hope that wont be the case with these over the next few years. Would I buy them if they were not free, no because zenni is like $30~ shipped. For free, hell yes. Took a total of around 6-7 days from order to my door. Much faster then zenni ever was. My suggestion to all is grab this while you can, its worth the paying of shipping and coatings to get a nice set of name brand $100 frames.

I recently made the move from single vision to progressives. I checked pretty much all the sites. I have glasses from Zenni, but for progressives, I couldn't find any frames I liked. I got a pair from 39dollarglasses, they were a little under $100 total. Of course not as low as Zenni, but frames I REALLY like. They are similar to some RayBans, but without the $250 to over $300 other sites charge. This site is also one I checked out, no frames for me either that I like, still a good deal.

This looks pretty good.
Does anyone know of one of these discount internet eyeglass places that will use your existing frames?

Just got mine today. Excellent quality, as good as the last pair I got from my optometrist. All the accessories listed earlier. I got the scratch coat, so it will be interesting to see how they hold up. So far, I'm impressed.
