Default can my 48x burner burn 52x cds

Theres a good deal on a pack of 52x cd-r and i have a 48x burner, im pretty sure that its possible to burn media slower than rated speed, am i right?

it will work... 52x is the CD's "max" burn speed, you won't have a problem burning slower if your drive doesn't support the max speed.

Yes, you can burn lower than they are rated.

You could burn 52x CDs at 1x if you felt the need.

Burning 48x max media in a 52x burner might be a bit sketchy, 52x max media in a 48x drive will give you no problems at all.
