Comcast/Xfinity has been updating their networks and you might be able to get yourself a higher upload speed by upgrading your modem (see the NextGen-approved ones): https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2023.11.22 Full List of Compatible Devices.pdf - allegedly, more devices will be certified in the coming months (so check with Xfinity for updated lists before you buy).

My story of discovery: I had a Motorola SB7621 (24x8 modem) for many years supporting my 400 Mbps download package, but upload rates were limited to ~10-15 Mbps. With recent Comcast network upgrades in my area, they changed the package to 400/100 (of course, not really telling us of that change). I ended up purchasing a Hitron Coda modem for ~$100 and can now get that 100 Mbps upload. After swapping out the modem, it took ~24 hours and maybe 1-2 reboots to start getting the full upload speed. Pretty great now when I have to upload larger files for work to our SharePoint server.
