Gotcha, Yep, I ordered a 5050 RGB strip on Amazon, and would receive that today. Will connect it to the motherboard to see if it works.

So I tried switching the RGB connector on the controller from RGB 1 to 2 and 3, still the same. What do you think might be causing the controller to not interpret the data correctly?

Yep, I did submit a ticket. Their response time is too long. Plus they are suggesting its Armory Crate, try uninstalling and installing their legacy Aura Sync utility software. Tried all, but it hasn't worked so far.

Yep I connected to the Aura RGB header, and the 12v pin is rightly aligned with the motherboard 12v pin. Here's a picture.
