Apparently Rudy is one of them but Trump is unindicted as of yet but being called an unindicted co-conspirator.

At least the ball is now moving. Wonder if they'll add him on later.

EIther way Rudy should just about get peckered with this!

Not if it’s a 12 woman jury.
You don't think women can be Trump supporters?

JFC…

@gotnoeggs with the most incorrect election predictions and you with the nonstop hung jury bullshit!
I'm tellin you folks...Trump supporters are everywhere...and it only takes one on a jury...

But, I'll tell you what...If Trump gets convicted of his crimes, I'll start a thread telling the world (or this place) how wrong I was.

Ok BoomerD

But Trump isn't even indicted yet in AZ.

Yet is sadly unlikely to change. There had to be a reason that he wasn’t indicted at the head of the group.

OK, I don't understand why all the hate on BoomerD here.

I think he has a valid point. It will be very difficult to seat a jury without at least one MAGA cult member on it. Those fuckers are absolutely delusional. We have more than enough ample evidence they are impervious to fact and reason.

In the NY case, one jury member uses Truth Social as their primary news source. I think the chances of that fucker hanging the jury are damn near 100%.

I don't either.

Maybe because I live in a purple county in Trump's (new, home) state swarming with Maga types--perhaps some of you don't realize how deep the delusion goes. It's literally a different reality. Trump is a small-g god, the intrepid business man and hero of the little people fighting a desperate battle against the oppressive Deep State. Barf-worthy yes, and ironic considering he desparately desires authoritarian control himself, but that's how they see this guy.

I'm just as worried about courts "playing it safe" with the powerful rich candidate as I am hung juries. This putz has already gotten WAY more leeway than a normal citizen in his position(s). If Trump manages to delay most of his trials until after the election, and he wins, that's the end of it (and pffffft on the idea of federal vs state cases, he'll just refuse to go to Court and who in the hell is going to go drag him there? More likely his handpicked browncoats will be rounding up prosecuters and judges....)

I think the problem is people assuming courts/juries/etc will behave as they SHOULD according to norms, which is almost certainly no longer the case. None of these cases are being tried in an theoretical setting or being graded on a law school exam. They're in the real world with assorted bad actors sprinkled all through the various cases.

No different than people jumping all over others for being pro Israel for making any type of negative comment against the pro Palestinian protests.

It’s stupid the argument has the orange monkey ever got a hung jury yet? Umm this is unprecedented criminal trial against a former president. There is no prior precedent in base history on. Like come on, it was an unanimous not guilty for Rittenhouse.

You may not like bad news, but it is a more than valid point that many (if not all) of his trials will end in hung juries. The cult is pervasive, utterly delusional, willing to lie to get selected and make up some 30% of our population.

Does a hung jury result in a retrial?

Often times, yes. But again, the chances of a MAGA cultist getting onto a Jury is huge.

Plus, a hung jury trial just before the election helps Trump. He'll claim total vindication and take a victory tour in the months leading up to the election. Meanwhile, the retrial will not take place until after the election. And if he's elected, probably never.

Same old plan as always. First, remember this is state and cannot be pardoned by the Pres. So, you threaten the little guys with all kinds of charges with jail time and get them squaking about who told you what when. Why is this a big mystery to people.

Yes specifics unique to each state. But ultimately the indictments overlap with Jan 6 and Georgia. No needs to pressure people to flip. So I think it’s on purpose and unlikely they wanted to indict the orange monkey and still looking for evidence

Have no idea why you think there is no need to pressure people to flip. You think these people were inherently honest, while signing up for something nefarious.

Who give a god damn shit if a jury has a MAGA. You don’t make a decision to not charge based on that. If it is hung jury so be it but charge and put the traitors on trial.
