Problems with Trackpoint on X60 in Firefox

Has anyone run into problems scrolling using the Trackpoint scrolling on an IBM X60? I just set mine up this week and I am having issues scrolling smoothly. IE and Opera work fine but Firefox has all kinds of problems scrolling smoothly. I have the latest driver but that did not help much.

Yeah that is Firefox not the X60 or trackpoint.

Well Firefox worked fine on my T42 with the Trackpoint scrolling so I am going to say that it is my X60. Scrolling does work but it is very jerky in Firefox 2.0.0.1. When I had smooth scrolling on in Firefox it was a little better but still not usable.

Did you have 2.0.0.1 installed on your T42? I don't like 2.0 so I'm still using 1.5.0.9.

I've used FF on a T42, T43, T60, Z61m, Z61p, and X60s. It is a software issue, most likely with FF, but go to Control Panel-->Mouse and check out the UltraNav tab. Play with some settings there. Also maybe uninstall the UltraNav driver and reinstall.

Yes, I have 2.0.0.1 on both laptops and on the T42 everything works fine. I will have to try reinstalling the driver as something may gave broke when I installed it.

Are your graphics drivers installed properly? I had a similar problem when I fresh installed and the graphics drivers had been installed yet.

Well after reverting to an older version of the Intel graphics driver all is good again. Firefox works like a charm. The problem was the latest Intel driver.
