NewEgg has what appears to be almost the perfect laptop for me:
Asus F8Sp-X1 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220303)
But I can't find it sold anywhere else, nor on Asus's website! Why is that? Anyway, if you own this laptop, would you please post the exact width? NewEgg says 13.0 inches, but other Asus laptops with the same looking case is as much as 13.6 inches. This may appear small, but it matters for my needs. TiA!

edit: Sorry if I was unclear--I meant the width (longest dimension) of the laptop, not the display. BTW, this laptop seems to be a great deal considering the specs!

edit2: SOLVED!
I guess Asus finally updated its site. Here is the link:
http://www.asus.com/products.a...l1=5&l2=26&l3=501&l4=0 (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=2128&l1=5&l2=26&l3=501&l4=0)

The laptop is 34.0 cm wide, so it's slightly wider than what NewEgg claims. Kinda big for a 14" display, but the specs are great for that price!

wow that's about the perfect notebook I've been looking for. 14" 1440x900 screen with a decent GPU (HD3650). All the notebooks with <15" screen I've found so far has crappy GPU and 1280x800 screens. I preferred the F8Va-B1 with P8400 CPU though. Looks like Asus website is not up to date with their products.
