Woah, thats pretty cool. I have the iFi and this thing could be handy for streaming from my Centro (A2DP isnt out of the box, but you can buy a $20 program that does it).

I'm a little confused. Does this recieve a bluetooth signal and transmit it over FM? Or the other way around?

No, it takes a bluetooth signal and outputs it thru a ipod dock connector, so you could use it with a ipod fm transmitter, a ipod dock, or other ipod accessory. I just ordered one, now Im gonna pick up a ipod fm transmitter, plug this in, and stream over my car stereo.

I still don't get what this thing does. I'm thinking about getting an iPhone. I have no iPod or dock of any sort. Nor a bluetooth headset, nor anything in my car that supports either. I do have Bluetooth on my computers.
So, um, do I need one of these? =]

if you have a cellphone or any other device that can stream audio through the A2DP standard than you can have it pair up with this device. You can then plug this device into an ipod dock or any other ipod accessory that connects to speakers and wallah!! you have wireless audio for up to 30 feet!
I think that's as simple of an explanation as it gets...no?

If only it's available at the same price somewhere else! The name Sprint dreads me.

I read somewhere that the iPhone doesn't support A2DP.

I've been trying to do this, but for some reason I can not get it to work. I can get MoGo to recognize the anycom but it will not connect. It keeps requesting the passkey and I haven't the slightest idea what that is. Would someone of the know be willing to teach an idiot what to do.

The manual usually has the passkey. Try 0000 or 1234 as the common defaults.

Neither came with a manual. The MoGo came with software that I'm trying to use as Vista did not recognize the adapter. I did try both sets of numbers and every time it says "Authentication failed. Please try to connect again."
Software is ..... Product version BlueSoleil 2.7.0.13 VoIP Release 071227 / Stack Version 06.05.85.20070815

If I get this correct - this extends your investment in IPOD components - like speakers and docking stations.
For those who are looking to extend A2dp handset (blackjack II) into car, stereo and other A2DP compoments (non-IPOD), this doesn't seem to add value - correct?

Only if you've got pre-existing iPod wiring or you can get iPod accessories for less than their generic equiv.
To me, this is a real niche product, which is probably why it's on clearance at Sprint.

I bought this tonight.
I want to use it with my mogul, but im seeing a small issue.
This thing gets its power from a dock connector, right?
Without the dock there is no way to charge it up right?

if you're handy with the soldering iron and know basic electronics you can get the pinout of the ipod connector, get a generic ipod cableand splice it up into a set of wires for audio output and the positive and negative wires for the power...then you can solder RCA connectors on the audio wires, and an HTC/motorolla (whatever ur phone is) wire for the + and - wires...this thing is driven with 5 volts so any cellphone charger will be able to power it up.
