Value (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829102175)
or
ZS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829102162)
I don't mind the MIR, and I don't really care about the bundles...
So for $17 more, what do I get? Is it worth it to get the ZS instead of the Value? Why?

The main difference is that the ZS has the firewire port and MIDI I/O.

Probably value, as you probably won't use MIDI (for sound techies) or firewire, unless you're into video. For just great audio, the value processor is the same as the one on the ZS Plat, which is really good.

I'd say if it's for games only get value, if you are going to watch movies and listen to music get zs
ZS has a nice THX calibration console for home theater setup and plays back Audio DVDs, while value does not even decode DTS sountrack in movies and, apparently, has some cheaper DAC so the quality of audio signal is lower then with ZS.

Agreed. THX calibration is very nice.
