Problems with Search engine...

1. When I do a topic search in all the forums it goes exceedingly slow. No matter what the topic is.
2. Could we have that feature back where if you are in Forum-X and click Search it automatically only selects Forum-X?

I was just about to start a thread asking for this. I've found myself not checking to see which categories were selected (just assuming that only X-category was that I was just in like it was before) and it taking friggin forever because it was searching all the categories.

also, while we're at it ;) how about getting it back like it was way back when where you could search for "search phrase A" in one box and/or "search phrase B" in a different box. Like it was here. (http://www.jiggawatts.com/images/temp/search.gif)

If not the separate boxes, then how about some wildcards or some conjunctions (AND, OR, AND NOT)?
